{"id":6317,"date":"2018-12-09T15:45:16","date_gmt":"2018-12-09T15:45:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.vetuvir.com\/?p=6317"},"modified":"2018-12-12T11:19:31","modified_gmt":"2018-12-12T11:19:31","slug":"press-release-clinical-study-vetuvir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vetuvir.com\/en\/press-release-clinical-study-vetuvir\/","title":{"rendered":"Press Release Clinical Study Vetuvir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On\u00a0<strong>13 April\u00a0<\/strong>alle\u00a0<strong>at 11 a.m.<\/strong>, in the meeting room of <strong>\u00a0Vision Engineering Italy<\/strong>, will be presented the\u00a0<strong>clinical study<\/strong>\u00a0on\u00a0<strong>VETUVIR<\/strong>, the innovative point-of-care- UV-A device for the veterinary medicina.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE EVENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 13 April 2018, at the meeting room of Vision Engineering Italy in Via Livenza 3 in Rome, there will be the\u00a0<em>kick off<\/em>\u00a0meeting of the clinical study \u201cAssessment of corneal phototherapy with riboflavin and UV-A efficacy for treating infectious keratitis\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The scope of the study will be to assess effiacy of <strong>VETUVIR<\/strong><strong>to treat corneal infections in small and large animals <\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThe event will be important to meeting the clinical investigators, who are working at the <strong>University of Perugia<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>University of Camerino<\/strong>\u00bb says Dr. Marco Lombardo, co-fonder of Vision Engineering Italy.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abWe have begun this project more than 2 years ago with the aim of solving on of the major problems of veterinary ophthalmologists\u00bb \u2013 say to us Marco and Giuseppe Lombardo \u2013 \u00abAfter initial results showing the efficacy of our products Vetuvir and Visioflavin to treat\u00a0<strong>corneal infections<\/strong> in dogs and horses, we have collected a Team of experts in the field and started designing this clinical study. We are now very happy to start the present study, which is <strong>the first in the history of veterinary ophthalmology worldwide<\/strong>\u00bb<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>THE PROMOTER OF THE STUDY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vision Engineering Italy<\/strong> is a med-tech firm establihsed in 2014 by Marco and Giuseppe Lombardo.
