The treatment is also indicated for the treatment of inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the cornea. <strong>VET-CXL\u00ae is performed with VETUVIR\u00ae<\/strong> after applying <strong>EQUIRVIS\u00ae<\/strong> riboflavin eye drops to the cornea.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The<strong> VETUVIR\u00ae<\/strong> device is programmed to offer two treatment modes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>30 mW\/cm<sup>2<\/sup> UV-A power density with 3 minutes irradiation time for the treatment of infectious keratitis and corneal ulcers. Corneal phototherapy with <strong>VETUVIR<\/strong> has been shown to be<strong> 80% superior to standard of care for treating septic corneal ulcers<\/strong> in dogs and horses!
